Landscaping plan

The landscaping plan is to retain untouched, the excellent existing mature trees along the boundary with the High Street together with the mature hedges on all sides of the site. 5m of hedge adjacent to the existing site entrance will need to be removed and replacedto make the entrance a little wider.

33m of hedge in the middle of the site, between plots 4 and 7 will be removed but additional screening will be provided by the planting of 45m of new hedges, of native shrubs and trees to include hawthorn, field maple, blackthorn, beech and hornbeam, to minimise views into the site through the entrance. The new hedges will be between the allotments and plot 5 and the balancing basin and plot 1.

There are no views into the site except through the site entrance. There are no views beyond the site into the fields that adjoins the rear boundary. There are no views into the site from the public right of way.
